Theater group to stage scary drama in Kingston

KINGSTON – True Repertory Theater will stage an adaptation of Stephen King’s thriller “Misery” at 8 pm Oct. 21, 22, 28 and 29, and 3 pm Oct. 23 and 30, at the Beal House, 222 Main St. Directed by Donald Sheehan, the play tells the story of a romance writer who is “saved” from a car accident by an unhinged and obsessive fan. Volunteers needed to clean up trail, Driftway Park

SCITUATE – Scituate Trashed, a group of local environmentalists, invites volunteers to join a cleanup of the AJ McEachern Memorial Trail and Driftway Conservation Park area from 9 to 11 am Saturday, Oct. 22. The group will provide bags and asks volunteers to bring their own gloves and grabbers. Volunteers will gather at Driftway Conservation Park, 250 Driftway.
