Amazon’s Best Toys In 2022 List Is Here

A number of retailers have dropped their toy holiday lists into our inboxes in recent days, including Amazon. The mega online shopping site just released its Toys We Love list with around 200 picks, ranging from items under $10 to pricey Lego sets. The e-commerce behemoth included 100 new toys, as well as a number of its most popular bestsellers and plenty of picks under $50.

The holiday toy lists arrived right on time, just as the kids had returned to school and we parents had finished shopping all those back-to-school sales, including for backpacks and lunch boxes. Now it’s time to start pulling together our kids’ holiday wish lists, right?

Given there are so many toy options out there and it isn’t always an easy task sorting through a retailer’s site, we’ve highlighted some of our favorites from Amazon’s 2022 list below. You can also sort through the site’s top toys list by a child’s age, price or category, such as plush, action toys, arts and crafts, building toys, pretend play, outdoor sports and games and puzzles.

If you’re not already shopped out after reviewing these favorite toys on Amazon, don’t miss our Forbes Vetted gift guides, and our top toy picks for babies, toddlers, 5-year-olds and even the hard-to-shop for age groups of tweens and teens.

Our Favorite Building Blocks In Glow-In-The Dark Neon

Make their creations glow with this 16-piece Magna-Tiles set. These magnetic building blocks have long been a staple in my home with three young kids, and I’m sure they’d find creative ways to add this glow-in-the-dark set to their repertoire. Just remember to let these super charge in the sun or risk disappointing the kids come bedtime when their blocks don’t glow. Recommended for ages 3 and up due to the magnets.

Unbox Three Surprise Squishmallows

A surprise box of not one but three Squishmallows? Yes, please! These sweet plushies are all over my kids’ beds, but they never seem to tire of collecting them, nor bringing them into their games. Keep in mind that you can’t select which characters you want with this Mystery Box toy, so if you have a child who really knows what she wants and only wants that very specific toy, you may want to just search out that specific Squishmallow ( speaking from experience). These 8-inch, soft Squishmallows are recommended for all ages.
