Wichita Asian Festival | october 15
Where: Century II
Join us for the 41st Annual Wichita Asian Festival! For the first time, we will be having a $5 admission fee for individuals above the age of 10. Half of the proceeds from this fee will go back to supporting our community, specifically towards youth in the form of academic scholarships!! The event includes multiple cultural stage performances, food/drink/art vendors (for purchase), and of course the Miss Wichita Asian Festival Scholarship Pageant.

Bridget’s Cradles: Wave of Light 2022 | october 15
Where: Beech Lake
Join us on October 15th for a community candlelight vigil and water lantern release amongst a light display featuring over 50,000 pink, blue, and white lights in memory of our babies in Heaven. This is a free event for families who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss and their friends and family.

Shop & Grub is our monthly market featuring a unique variety of vendors selling vintage clothing, jewelry, accessories, home goods, wine, delicious food and more.

Where: Groover Labs
1 Million Cups is a free, weekly national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. Every Wednesday morning at 8:45 am, one or two early-stage startups present their companies to a diverse audience of their peers, mentors, educators, and advisors.

Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular | October 12-15
Where: botanica
Enjoy everything there is to love about fall while strolling through Botanica during four fun-filled nights at Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular! Carved by volunteer groups in the Wichita community, find more than 1,600 unique pumpkins lit up for everyone to see. Pumpkin sculptures, aerial acrobatics and fire dancing are also on display. There will also be a petting zoo and fire pits set up for s’mores. If you dare, wander through the Haunted Woodland Walk! Listen to music by DJ Carbon on the Grand Lawn stage and grab a cocktail from Bar on Demand. Purchase food from local restaurants and food trucks. This is a family-friendly event, perfect for all ages!

Kansas Grown Farmer’s Market | october 15
Where: Two Locations: 21st & Ridge and Derby Market
Join us every Saturday, April thru October. Featuring dozens of Kansas Grown! vendors, live music, food trucks, Troubles the Clown and more.

Pumpkins at the Park 2022 | october 15
Where: Tanganyika Wildlife Park
We’re back with Pumpkins at the Park!🎃 That’s right – Pumpkins at the Park, Wichita’s largest Halloween event, returns this year for a spooky good time for the entire family EVERY Saturday in October from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm . Come celebrate the fall season and get into the Halloween spirit with us. With five nights of fun, you’ll have more days to fit into your busy schedule! From toddlers to grandparents and everyone in between, we’ve got fun for everyone this Halloween!

Freestone Fall Festival | october 15
Where: freestone
Nies Homes is planning a Fall Festival at Freestone, our new home community, during the Wichita Fall Parade of Homes. The festival will take place on October 15th from 12PM – 5PM at 2307 N Sagebrush St. in Freestone, which is located on 21st St., east of 143rd St.. The event is free and open to the public and we have a signature event that we’re excited to share. Our Hard Hat Tour will take festival attendees on a free guided walk through three homes currently under construction. They’ll be able to learn about new home building and ask questions from our team of experts. Tours depart every hour starting at 12pm and attendees can visit the event website to reserve their time slot.

Outdoor Vintage Flea Market | october 15
Where: Paramount Antique Mall
Paramount Antique Mall​’s Outdoor Vintage Flea Markets! Saturday, October 15th. Over 50 booths set up outside with antiques, vintage goods, home & garden decor, primitives, advertising, tools, industrial, furniture & so much more!! Located at 135th & West Kellogg in Wichita. Open 8 am – 3 pm. Shop inside the store on flea market days from 9 am – 6 pm and save 10% store-wide.

Vamos Nomar Fiesta | october 15
Where: 21st & Broadway
This fiesta, sponsored by Cox, will be like no other seen before and is an event for all of Wichita to support! We will close down part of 21st St., open Nomar Plaza, and have an evening full of live music, small businesses, art, drinks and some delicious Hispanic food! The best part is it’s free!

Halloween Hullaboo | october 15
Where: High Park
Join us for a haunting good time at this family friendly event. Enjoy spooky music while participating in trick-or-treating, hayrides, a zombie hunting range, and bounce houses. A costume contest will be held at a no charge at the amphitheater. We’ll also have pumpkins and caramel apples for sale while supplies last. All ages are welcome.

Wichita Flea Market | October 15-16
Where: Southern YMCA
Come walk the aisles at the Farha Sports Center at the South Wichita YMCA and shop small through the 200+ booths that includes antiques, crafts, vintage items, collectibles, primitives, reclaimed items, comics, artwork, jewelry, toys, and so much more in this monthly flea market operated by a local Wichita Family.

Community Fair Days | october 16
Where: Old Cowtown Museum
Free admission for all, plus shop over 50 great local vendors! Food, treats, and great handmade art, home decor, glasses, t-shirts, jellies, jams, local authors and more!

3rd Annual Una Vida Tequila Dinner | october 16
Where: Newport Grill
Enjoy award-winning tequila and exquisite cuisine at the 3rd Annual Una Vida Tequila Dinner. This five-course dinner experience will immerse you in flavor with culinary creations by Chef Ivan Garcia paired with the unique, earthy tastes of tequila selected by Bryce Lob, Owner of Una Vida, and cocktails by Jesse Sullard of Newport Grill.
